Starting as a small business in Chennai, we have big dreams to spread our wings across the globe. Our aim is to bridge the gap between people looking for used books and those who are ready to pass them on.

Sujithra P.
Sujithra is passionate about teaching. Coming from a teaching background, she has worked in primary schools and colleges in the Mathematics department. She is now completely involved in Sastha Traders and is excited to witness its growth. Her love for children's literature and education is the heartbeat of everything we do.

The beginning
We noticed many children's books going to waste and started collecting them from waste-paper marts, carefully identifying and segregating good-quality copies.
Growing the collection
Over time, we learned about other sources and expanded our collection process — building a curated library of UK imported pre-owned books.
Going online
We moved from a small house to a warehouse in Santhosapuram, Chennai — and built this online store to deliver books directly to readers' doorsteps.
